‘Love Actually’ Star Martine McCutcheon Sparks Concern After Showing Off Drastic Weight Loss

The Natalie depicter in the Christmas-themed romantic comedy is urged by her fans and followers not to ‘lose any more weight’ and to ‘get help’ after she appears slimmer in a new social media post.

AceShowbizMartine McCutcheon has sparked concern among her fans and followers over her well-being. Fans voiced their concern after the actress portraying Natalie in “Love Actually” showed off her impressive weight loss.

On Sunday, November 28, the “Red Nose Day Actually” star made use of her Instagram account to share a series of her photos. In the pictures, she wore a grey stripy jumper paired with a leather midi skirt and black heeled boots.

In the comment section, many of her followers praised her for her transformation. One wrote, “Wow amazing so slim,” while another added, “You look AMAZING and so healthy xxx.” A separate Instagram user took to the comments, gushing, “You look amazingly beautiful.”

However, some social media users criticized her drastic weight loss. “Stunning…but is it weight loss program or gastric sleave? [sic],” one asked. Meanwhile, another suggested, “Your a beautiful girl and look amazing. Don’t lose anymore weight.” A different person urged her to “get help” as saying, “Where have you gone? Very worrying how much weight you have lost.. you are beautiful.. please get help xx.”

Despite the negative comments, one fan defended Martine as saying, “Evidently martine has lost weight, yet why do people think its okay to be so rude? She hasn’t posted this asking you what you think of her weight loss! she’s promoting Wallis.” The said person continued, “Comment on the outfit, it’s really not okay to be so personal about someone’s weight.”

Martine has suffered from chronic fatigue syndrome ME since 2011 that has stopped her from losing weight. To overcome her health issue, she admitted that she used The Cambridge Diet plan which helped her lose a total of 21 inches from all over her body.

Martine also found it helpful to have one-on-one support from consultants. She told Hello magazine in August, “My loss was a tiny bit slower than the average person but to be honest I expected that as many diets/food plans didn’t work for me at all as the lymes disease and me can really play havoc with how your system works.”

“Plus my consultant Donna stressed that my health is the most important thing so I took things a little more slowly whilst feeling more energized and even with health issues I’ve still managed to do it!” Martine added. She went on to share, “Only 5 and a half weeks and My BMI is in a much healthier range – and on my step of the plan I love that I can still have my green juices, porridge and real food.”
