Love Island’s Amber Gill set to ‘release a series of sexy novels after getting book deal with Mills & Boon’

She was catapulted to fame on the fifth series of Love Island in 2019 and went on to win the show, and now Amber Gill is reportedly set to become a book author.

The reality star, who defended posting pictures of her holiday in Dubai, is said to have signed a book deal with publishing company Mills & Boon to release some steamy novels about holiday flings.

A source told The Sun: "Mills & Boon have a solid fanbase but they are keen to diversify and attract younger readers.

"Amber is young, sexy, has a massive social media following.

"She's got loads of experience in dating, as fans saw on the show, so she has loads of ideas," the insider explained.

"Amber is fiesty and outspoken so she'll come up with some great characters."

The 23 year old first burst onto our screen on Love Island, where she became embroiled in a love triangle with Michael Griffiths and Joanna Chimonides.

After being unlucky in love, Amber chose to couple up with Greg O'Shea in the last two weeks of the show and the pair went on to win the series.

The Geordie lass recently revealed she lost a stone in weight over a six-week period and told OK! Online all about her incredible transformation.

When asked about whether fat-shaming trolls had any influence on her shedding the pounds, she said: "No, because I don't really let the trolling affect my self-image in terms of my weight.

"It was more the fact that I had moved down from Newcastle to London, I was in lockdown, I started just having a bit of a bad diet and not being mindful of what I was eating."

The former beauty therapist, who was rumoured to be dating Jon Hosking, went on to reveal that not being productive during lockdown took a toll on her mental health.

"In turn, I became not very productive in my days, less motivated. So it took a toll on my mental health and it was then that I came to a cross roads and said, "Look, I need to do something about this'.

"Then I met with my PT John and we got started."

Amber added: "It wasn't actually about losing a stone in six weeks, it actually just happened.

"It was more about me becoming a better version of myself with this crazy year that we've had."
