Meghan and Harry release their official 2023 Christmas card and thank fans for support

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have released their official annual Christmas card, and fans everywhere are delighted with this year's offering.

For the 2023 festive season, the famous couple have chosen a sweet still from Harry's recent Invictus Games, which were held in Düsseldorf, Germany, back in September.

The snap shows Harry and Meghan smiling and clapping at the awards, and both looking simultaneously festive and elegant.

While Meghan was sporting a stunning green sleeveless dress at the event, Harry went for a classic black shirt and matching suit jacket. Meghan also kept things natural makeup wise, and opted to style her long dark hair in a slick, low bun.

The card reads: "On behalf of the office of Prince Harry & Meghan. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation. We wish you a very Happy Holiday Season. Thanks for all the support in 2023!"

The design and festive-green colour scheme of the card compliments Harry and Meghan's wardrobe choice in the photo and the cursive font is also super sophisticated, helping the give the slightly Americanised copy a further festive royal touch.

For the second year running, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex opted not include their two children, Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilbet, two. The last time the two youngsters appeared on the official card was in 2021, when the couple used the opportunity to release their first official photo of their daughter.

Fans have since taken to social media to discuss this year's release.

"A beautiful Christmas card from Harry, Meghan and their staff," one person shared to Twitter, while a second said: "Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have released their 2023 Christmas Card ! I love it, it's gorgeous."

Harry and Meghan's festive card comes not long after Prince William, Kate Middleton and their family released their own version, too.

The Prince and Princess of Wales shared their photo last week, which featured a casual shot of the future King and Queen and their three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, at a staged photoshoot.

The young royal family all opted for white shirts and denim jeans, complete with a grainy black and white filter and plain backdrop.
