Meghan Markle provided a sweet surprise for a group of women in Chicago in honor of Women’s History Month.
According to People, the Duchess of Sussex provided a homemade olive oil cake—made with lemons from her own garden at her Montecito home—as part of meal in partnership with World Central Kitchen and the Sussexes’ Archewell Foundation. The duke and duchess have been committed to engaging in acts of compassion throughout the month of March.
“We hope you enjoy the offering we baked for you — a small token of thanks, from our home to yours,” wrote Meghan and Prince Harry in a letter to the women. “Our hope with this effort is to show that, when we all participate, even the smallest actions can have a ripple effect. Even individual actions can impact the whole of us.”
