Posting for his 2,500 Instagram followers to see, Lucas captioned the picture: “He’s OK. Ear surgery 10/10 Fit pics 2/10.”

The image was of the rock star’s son lying in a hospital bed with a bandage wrapped around his head.

Lucas appeared to be resting as he had his eyes closed while a nasal drip was inserted in his nose and a facemask was on his chest.

He continued to document his time in hospital in a carousel of pictures.

The next few images featured him sitting in a wheelchair in a cameo tracksuit wearing a mask with a bandage wrapped around his head.

The star also took a pre-surgery selfie which featured him in a hospital gown with his curly hair swept across his face.

Lucas also shared a video of himself being pushed around in a wheelchair by a medical professional, while he wore a mask and had his hood up.

Fans flocked to the star’s post to wish him well as he recovers.

One wrote: “Get well soon,” followed by a red heart emoji.

Another penned: “Feel better my dude.”

While a third added: “Get well soon, Love from us xx.”

Lucas is the second youngest child of rock star Mick.

Mick, 77, reportedly had an affair with Lucas’ mother – Luciana Gimenez, 51 – behind his then partner Jerry Hall’s back and his son was born in 1999.

Jerry claimed that the affair was responsible for the breakdown of their relationship, with the couple having three children, Georgia, 29, Elizabeth, 37, James, 35, and Gabriel, 23, together.

Speaking about the end of her 23-year relationship with the rock star, Jerry told the Radio Times: “I thought Mick would eventually change, but he didn’t.”

“He denied everything [the affairs] to the last. Well, I think most men do. He eventually had a baby with somebody else.”

However, Lucas seems to be close to his half-siblings.

Last May Lucas celebrated his 21st birthday in lockdown at his home in Sao Paolo, Brazil.

Half-sister model Georgia May shared a throwback snap of her and Lucas together to commemorate his big day.

She wrote: “HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY LUCAS!!!!! I love you so much I can’t believe you’re 21!! We will celebrate together in Brazil next year.”

Lucas also revealed that he had spoken to his family on Skype, posting a photo of the event.

Mick and his girlfriend Melanie Hamrick featured in one corner of the screen, while half-brother Gabriel could also be seen joining the call.
