Miranda Lambert Postpones Remaining Wildcard Tour Dates

Miranda Lambert recently announced that she has rescheduled her remaining Wildcard Tour dates due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Lambert said her last two U.S. dates and the eight Canadian shows, originally slated for April and May, will now take place in October.

The country star said the tour will include openers Cody Johnson and LANCO, although LANCO will not be part of the shows on October 16 and 17.

Lambert’s Wildcard Tour, which commenced in January this year, was originally scheduled to wrap on May 9.

Lambert says she’s enjoying the quiet time brought on by the coronavirus to the best of her ability, catching up on projects at home, songwriting and spending quality time with husband Brendan McLoughlin.

Last month, Lambert shared an update on how she and her husband were coping with self-quarantine. She shared some of their photos and wrote, “I haven’t really known what to say on social media during all this. I’m not great at socials anyway and a time like this makes it that much more difficult for me to figure out how to be. Tuesday of this week is when I finally realized I could unpack. For the next few months for me there are no shows, no sound checks, no bus calls, no flights. Just home.”

“Sending light to all the first responders and health care workers,” she concluded. “Stay home. Call home.”
