Good Morning Britain star Ranvir Singh told fans that she is struggling to make good food choices in her latest social media update. The presenter said that her early shifts wrecked havoc with her eating habits while discussing weight gain with fellow early riser Aasmah Mir.
The mum-of-one said that she is more likely to turn to food instead of sleep to combat the tiredness, as she has a little one to look after.
Ranvir, who is currently in St Ives reporting on the G7 Summit, made her comments in response to the 49-year-old TV and radio star, who hosts the breakfast show on Times Radio.
Aasmah tweeted: “I was moaning to a friend about how much weight I’ve put on recently (you can see for yourself in the Sunday Times magazine this weekend).
“And he ended the conversation by saying: ‘Keep your chins up!’ and reader I almost wet myself…,” she amusingly added.
“Mate I feel your pain…” Ranvir replied, sharing the post with her 103,200 followers.
“It’s the early shifts…,” she explained.
“Way too tired to make good food choices plus with kids you end up eating instead of sleeping, because sleeping is not an option,” the presenter added.
Many took to the comments section of her post to share their thoughts and tell the TV star that she had nothing to worry about.
“Stop this – we see you on our screens – you are glowing!” one follower pointed out.
“Totally glowing and looking amazing!” another added in agreement.
“You’re still fit as hell @ranvir01,” a third remarked followed by several fire emojis.
A fourth fan gushed: “Ranvir you are so BEAUTIFUL always!! Hope you’re enjoying St Ives, you’re doing an amazing job presenting as usual.”

Ranvir looked radiant when she appeared on GMB this morning.
The political editor sported a zebra print ensemble when she reported via video link from Cornwall.
Just last year, Ranvir revealed she had lost two dress sizes after taking part in Strictly Come Dancing at the end of 2020.
The GMB star wowed the judges and viewers at home when she danced with Giovanni Pernice in the 18th series of the BBC dancing competition.
The 43-year-old spoke to co-host Susanna Reid about her changing figure during her stint on the programme.
Susanna said: “You’ve said you haven’t felt 100 per cent confident about the way you look recently, on Strictly, I mean frankly on the show you look gorgeous every single day you’re on but this has given you a massive boost, hasn’t it?”
“Well I’ve just realised I’ve dropped two dress sizes in five weeks so it’s definitely having a change,” she replied.
Strictly viewers saw Ranvir grow in confidence on the dance floor and make it all the way to the semi final.
