Rebekah Vardy spotted leaving Dancing on Ice training following big legal ruling

Rebekah Vardy was spotted leaving from a Dancing on Ice training session at the National Ice Centre in Nottingham, where she’s cooling down during an ongoing legal battle with Coleen Rooney.

The 38-year-old model hugged Canadian ice dancer Andy Buchanan, her partner for the upcoming edition of the ITV series, set to air in 2021.

Rebekah kept out the Nottingham chill in a short black puffer jacket and used the hood to stay dry from the rain as she made her way to a waiting car.

She completed the sporty look with sleek black leggings and a pair of white trainers, and wheeled an equipment case behind her.

Author Coleen took to Instagram last autumn, suggesting model Rebekah, who is married to Leicester City star Jamie Vardy, leaked fake stories about her to the press.

Coleen’s sleuthing famously earned her the moniker ‘Wagatha Christie’.

Rebekah denied the allegations, and filed a libel lawsuit against Coleen earlier this year. The case is now in front of the High Court, and Rebekah received some good news yesterday when Mr Justice Warby ruled in her favour on one aspect of the ongoing proceedings.

Mr Justice Warby ruled that Coleen’s ‘It’s……… Rebekah Vardy’s account’ post, in which she alleged the WAG’s account was responsible for leaking stories about her to the press, directed guilt at Rebekah, rather than her social media account.

Coleen, 34, will now have to prove that Rebekah herself was responsible for leaking the stories.

A top lawyer said the ruling was a ‘disastrous’ result for Coleen, who has been married to Derby County footballer Wayne Rooney since 2008.

Matthew Dando, partner and media litigation expert at Wiggin LLP said: ‘The judge has found that Coleen’s post told a “whodunnit” story and pointed the finger firmly at Rebekah for having personally abused her status and made a great deal of information about Coleen public.

‘This makes it much harder for Coleen to prove the truth of the allegation because she will have to show that it was Rebekah herself who was leaking the stories. It won’t be enough to show that the leak simply came from her account or people operating it.

‘This really raises the stakes and makes the task ahead for Coleen much greater.’
