Ryan Reynolds Channels Beastie Boys on TikTok

The ‘Deadpool’ actor has joined the wildly popular platform TikTok, channeling his inner Beastie Boys with fellow actor and business partner Rob McElhenney.

AceShowbizRyan Reynolds has joined TikTok and kicked off his stint on the platform with shout-outs to Rob McElhenney, the soccer team they co-own and one of his classic movies.

The “Deadpool” star has shared three clips so far, including one in which he lipsyncs All-4-One‘s “I Swear” in an homage to his 2005 comedy “Just Friends“.

“I swear you will be disappointed by this account,” the caption to the video reads.

Ryan later shared a photo of himself topless in Deadpool make-up before using a filter to add a Wrexham AFC shirt.

The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard” star took over ownership of the Welsh club in February (21) with “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” star McElhenney.

Ryan’s TikTok debut came on the same day the soccer team announced the platform will be the team’s new shirt sponsor.

In the third clip, he and McElhenney riff on the Beastie Boys‘ “Sure Shot”, with Rob rapping, “TikTok, you don’t stop.”

Meanwhile, Ryan recently revealed he has never actually met Rob in person as they’ve had all their meetings over Zoom calls because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We Zoom and text every day,” he explained. “We’re kinda like work spouses. Everything we’ve done has happened during the pandemic.”

“Rob was somebody I had always admired, because he’s an engine of creativity. Then I saw (him do) The Dance (on his sitcom), and I couldn’t not reach out. Like a classic fanboy, I DM’d him just to say how much I admire him, and I sent him a case of Aviation Gin, because I’m nothing if not a pusher.”
