Serena Williams visits Meghan Markle’s newborn baby son Archie at Frogmore Cottage

Serena Williams has reportedly met best friend Meghan Markle’s son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

The Duchess of Sussex and husband Prince Harry welcomed their first child together on May 6, and friends of Meghan’s are said to be visiting her at home in Windsor.

Tennis champ Serena, who was at Meghan’s baby shower in New York earlier this year, is said to have “popped in” to visit little Archie at Frogmore Cottage last week.

Serena is said to have paid a flying visit to the UK ahead of arriving in Paris to prepare for the French Open tournament.

It comes after reports that Harry “can’t take his eyes off” his newborn son.

Prince Harry, 34, headed to Rome this weekend to play a charity polo match for his Sentebale charity – and according to pals, the new dad has a certain glow about him.

“You can tell what an incredible affinity he has for children,” Johnny Hornby, Chairman of Sentebale, told PEOPLE.

“He is a magnet for children. I didn’t think he could have appreciated children more than he did before, but I have seen a whole new involvement with them now that he is a father.”

A close pal of Prince Harry’s, Nacho Figueras, was also in attendance for the charity match.

“Nacho met little Archie last week and said that the Duke couldn’t take his eyes off of him — nor his hands,” Mr Hornby added.

“The two of them are just in a state of sheer delight over this birth.”
