Stacey Dooley, 33, ensured all eyes were on her in a show-stopping plunging dress. The Strictly Come Dancing winner could not be missed as she rocked the glamorous frock on the red carpet at the BAFTA TV Awards 2020.

The documentary-filmmaker looked chic as she posed for photos ahead of her appearance at the virtual ceremony.

Stacey made a bold statement in the black ensemble which featured a plunging neckline and cinched at her waist.

The stylish design showed off the presenter’s curves as she flashed the flesh and beamed for the cameras.

The stunning ballgown had a satin finish which ballooned at the bottom half of the dress.

Stacey teamed her gorgeous attire with a pair of backless pointed heels, which elongated her legs.

The TV star swept her auburn tresses back into a bun and opted for dramatic make-up.

Stacey sported a smokey-eye which she teamed with a bronze highlight and a nude lip.

The Strictly winner finished the look with her signature gold accessories; including earrings, rings and a bracelet.

However, it was the journalist’s dazzling dress which took centre stage at tonight’s event.

Stacey hit the red carpet solo and was not in attendance with her boyfriend Kevin Clifton.

The small-screen star – who lifted the Glitterball trophy with the Grimsby-born performer two years ago – went without her beau amid the current social distancing restrictions at mass gatherings.

Stacey was joined at the star-studded event by a host of famous faces which include Emily Atack, Jessica Hynes and Himesh Patel.

The documentary-filmmaker will be on hand to present the awards to the BAFTA TV winners who are virtually attending the ceremony.

Meanwhile, Stacey took to her Instagram story ahead of hitting the red carpet for the event.

In view of her 886,000 followers, she shared a clip where the documentary-filmmaker was getting glammed up.

Sitting in a silk dressing gown, her stylist got to work on her tresses before he quizzed Stacey.

He asked: “Are you ready for a cup of tea?”

While looking directly into the camera, Stacey replied: “Yes please,” adding the caption: “He knows.”

For tonight’s event, BAFTA has said that the awards ceremony, which is being broadcast on BBC One, will take place “in accordance with current restrictions” and winners have been invited to accept their awards virtually.

The Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards airs tonight on BBC One at 7pm.
