Teyana Taylor Announces Final Tour Before Retirement

Teyana Taylor, who had announce her plan to retire from music last year, has revealed dates for her final tour.

The singer announced “The Last Rose Petal Tour,” a 12-city farewell trek that will commence on November 7 in San Francisco. She will make stops across Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, and New York before concluding the tour in Atlanta on November 30.

“How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard,” Teyana captioned her tour announcement on Instagram. “However for every goodbye God makes the next hello closer. Come out and watch me, leave it all out on the stage… One last time… Just for you & as my last rose petal falls, I say farewell.”

“P.S. if you don’t see ya city don’t be alarmed, more cities to come!!!” she added in her message.

The tour comes in support of her final project, The Album, which was released in June 2020 and featured Missy Elliott, Erykah Badu, and Future.

The 29-year-old singer cited a number of reasons for her early exit, including being “under appreciated as an artist,” “receiving little to no real push from the “machine,” “constantly getting the shorter end of the stick,” and “being overlooked.”
