The Temptations Singer Bruce Williamson Dies From Coronavirus at 49

Bruce Williamson has sadly died after complications from coronavirus, TMZ reports.

The singer was the former lead vocalist for The Temptations, and passed away on Sunday night (September 6) at his Las Vegas home. He was just 49.

“There’s no words in the world that can express how I feel right now,” his son Bruce wrote on Facebook, sharing the news about his father.

He added, “I love you Daddy thank you for being awesome thank you for being loving thank you for being Who You Are I pray to God and we will meet again, I love you Daddy R.I.H KING WILLIAMSON.”

Bruce joined iconic group The Temptations in 2006 and stayed with them until 2015. He was set to perform this weekend at a pay-per-view concert.
