Wendy Williams Denies Taking Kevin Hunter Back as Manager, Sends Messages for His New Family

The 55-year-old author/host looking strong enough to talk about Kevin is much different from when she stopped by SiriusXM’s The Karen HunterShow in New York City last month.

AceShowbiz -It was previously reported that Wendy Williams reunited with estranged husband Kevin Hunter as she re-hired him as her business manager. However, the 55-year-old TV host recently had set the records straight, insisting that Kevin didn’t step back into his old role in any capacity.

“The only business – I repeat – the only business me and Mr. Hunter are involved with is getting a divorce finalized,” she told FOX 5 during her recent appearance. Wendy further detailed how things were going following Kevin’s departure from “The Wendy Williams Show”.

“It’s even better now probably because I’ve loosened up,” she explained. “The moral has always been good because I’ve taken the reigns.”

Wendy had been opening up about her and Kevin’s situation in the recent days. She addressed her cheating husband’s new family in a recent appearance SiriusXM’s “Sway in the Morning”. “I want a divorce like yesterday, I want a divorce two months ago, three months ago. Whenever I found out, four months ago,” she said.

“I want a divorce, and I want to be friends with Kevin. I mean, and not because we have a son but because that was real love. I still love him just not in that way,” she continued, noting that she wanted to keep everything amicable during the process. “You either in or you are out with me. I still have love for him and I wish him the best in his new life with his new family.”

Wendy looking strong enough to talk about Kevin was much different from when she stopped by SiriusXM’s The Karen Hunter Show in New York City last month. During the sit-down interview, host Karen Hunter asked Wendy if she would change her name on credit card and bank accounts now that she had split from Kevin. Choking up with tears, Wendy said on Tuesday, July 23, “My name is Wendy Hunter. That’s my son’s name. You can’t take away twenty.” She then added, “Don’t make me cry.”

“I’m happy, I’m healthy…I’m at peace with the world and everyone around…I’m going through a situation in my family,” the 54-year-old TV personality went on saying.

When Karen asked if there was a chance of them getting back together amid Kevin’s cheating allegations, Wendy quickly responded, “No! Don’t ask. Girl. No. Don’t ask.” She added, “I know what you’re saying…but my family’s good, and we’ll always be family.”
