Relationships can come and go quickly in Hollywood. Sometimes, they even come back around again. And per the rumor mill, one recently split star couple could be giving love another go — there’s possibly a clue that Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk are back together after their breakup. The pair, who share daughter Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper, called it quits only two weeks ago. So why is the internet abuzz with the possibility of a reconciliation?
Tongues began wagging on Tuesday morning when, per Cosmopolitan, a rather content-looking Cooper was spotted outside of Shayk’s New York City apartment. Because everyone loves a good celebrity ‘ship, it’s only natural to not-so-secretly assume Cooper was visiting Shayk because they’d made amends. But if we’re really being honest with ourselves, we can probably all agree there is another far likelier explanation for Cooper and Shayk’s NYC rendezvous: little Lea.
Thanks to People, we know that the actor has been in the city spending time with his daughter while Shayk was out of the country. According to the outlet, he spent Father’s Day with Lea on a private jet en route to meet Shayk upon her return home. Accordingly, Cooper was spotted out and about in the city on Monday sporting a big smile on his face.
Of course, we can’t entirely rule out a reconciliation. Unless Cooper or Shayk issues a statement on their relationship — or until either one is photographed cozying up to someone else — it’s possible they could find their way back to each other. For now, though, it would seem the two are just doing a damn good job of co-parenting. “For Lea’s sake, they keep spending time together as a family. Bradley is a great dad. He has always been very involved with his daughter,” a source told People.
So, while a reconciliation may not be in the cards for these two, the outlook is favorable that they’ll remain amicable. “It’s clear that Bradley and Irina have the same goals for their daughter,” the source said, adding, “They want her to live a normal life, be surrounded by good friends and thrive through play. They are both wonderful parents.”
