Chloe Burrows breaks down in tears over ex Toby Aromolaran

Chloe Burrows has ended up in tears while discussing her break-up with Toby Aromolaran.

The former Love Island stars met on the reality series in 2021 but announced they had parted ways back in October last year.

Now Chloe, 27, is appearing on the latest season of Celebs Go Dating alongside former Islander Adam Collard, TV presenter Vanessa Feltz, Made in Chelsea’s Mark-Francis Vandelli, model Lottie Moss and comedian and internet personality Spuddz.

When asked by the dating agents to discuss her break-up with Toby, 24, on the latest episode of the series, Chloe got quite emotional.

After labelling her ex the ‘nicest boy I’ve ever met’, she said it had been hard to ‘replicate the connections’ formed on Love Island in normal life.

She went on to explain that after things ended between them, she was ‘heartbroken for months’.

Starting to cry, Chloe wiped away her tears before saying she wanted to avoid getting upset speaking about her past relationship.

‘Things fell apart a bit and we both knew,’ she explained.

‘He went away, and we hadn’t seen each other for a month.

‘I won’t beg for someone to stay with me. When I am done with someone, I cut them off but then I speak about them and get upset.’

She added: ‘At the time I didn’t want it to end, and I wasn’t ready, but it’s made me a nightmare to deal with boys.’

When asked if she would ever want to get back together with Toby, Chloe hesitated before sharing she thought they were ‘different people now’.

Earlier this week Chloe explained how she had got in contact with her ex to give him the head’s up about her appearance on the dating series.

‘I know he said in an article recently that we don’t speak but, we’re not on bad terms,’ she explained.

She added to The Mirror: ‘Out of respect, I did tell him and he was like, “Do it.” I don’t know if he was jumping for joy but, he knew.’

While a connection was quickly formed between the couple when they met on Love Island, Chloe previously said her dad had been less than impressed when they got frisky in front of the cameras.

‘My dad almost killed me for going on Love Island. I don’t know if I could do OnlyFans,’ she said when asked if she would ever sign up for the adult subscription site.

‘My dad didn’t speak to me for months. In fact, we’ve still not spoken. I had sex on TV,’ she added when appearing on The Fellas Podcast.

Celebs Go Dating is streaming on Channel 4.
