Despite any discomforts that may come with being near the end of pregnancy, Sophie Turner was adamant about standing up for what she believes in. The Game of Thrones star is reportedly eight months pregnant at the moment.
On Friday, the actress shared a slideshow of photos on her Instagram to document her day at a peaceful protest, doing her part to support the Black Lives Matter movement. In the first image, she showed the group laying face down on the grass in an open area, followed by a photo of Turner with a sign that read “White Silence is Violence,” and ended with a video with the star chanting “No justice, no peace,” alongside her husband and their friends. She opted for a caption with the same theme and simply wrote: “No justice, no peace #BlackLivesMatter.”
Dad-to-Be Joe Jonas also shared photos from the outing in an Instagram slideshow. The first image is a selfie taken by the couple’s friend with Jonas and Turner in the background. The following images were the group that laid face down on the grass, two girls who protested while holding signs, and concluded with the same video that Turner shared. He captioned the slideshow: “Black Lives Matter” with a red heart emoticon.
With a short amount of time until Turner gives birth, we see that Jonas and Turner already are taking a clear stance on their family values and what they will teach their first child about the world. The couple’s due date and the sex of the baby remain a mystery to the public.
