I'm A Celebrity viewers cringe as Matt Hancock dons tight hotpants

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! finally saw the fan favourite challenge Celebrity Cyclone back on our screens, but the superhero costumes were a bit much for those watching at home.

For some background, the challenge sees the stars make their way up a wet and windy incline dressed as superheroes, complete with capes and dashing goggles.

Through the challenge, they must battle the elements to cling onto their stars.

With Matt Hancock, Jill Scott, Mike Tindall and Owen Warner dressed up in spandex, it was the tiny hotpants that saw some shocked at copping an eyeful, particularly of the former health secretary and sitting MP.

However the final four couldn’t wait to take part when they found out the time had come.

Rocking the tight spandex, Owen said he was ‘loving life’, while Mike sung a little song saying that ‘I’ve got my tight pants… I’ve got my tight pants on’.

Not missing out the chance to create a superhero name, Mike chose Quicksilver, Matt was the Bronze Bronco, Jill became Purple Reign and Owen, well, he called himself Goldic*ocks.

Matt added: “I am the Bronze Bronco and I’m holding on for dear life.”

Jill said: “I’m Purple Reign I must help my team!”

As Matt said: ‘I never thought I’d make it to the Cyclone. It’s going to be absolutely brilliant, I can’t wait.’

Meanwhile Owen added it was set to be ‘so sick’, while Mike knew what was about to unfold would be ‘entertaining’.

It was exactly that, but audiences had a lot to say about what they saw.

Almost immediately comments started flooding Twitter, with plenty of people posting memes of their reactions to Hancock in the hotshorts.

‘So you’ll just have to suck it up and carry on,’ he said.

Despite some setbacks, all four managed to be in position when final time was called and they won four meals for camp, as well as four choc ice treats and the results of the England games in the World Cup!

Now the countdown is on until a winner is crowned.

The I’m A Celebrity finale airs tomorrow night from 9.15pm on ITV.
