Jennifer Garner, Julia Louis-Dreyfus & So Many Other Big Names Made Dazzling Appearances at Joe Biden's First State Dinner

On Thursday night, President Joe Biden ticked another bullet point from his presidential checklist: his first-ever State Dinner. Alongside his wife Dr. Jill Biden, Joe welcomed French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron to a star-studded event with approximately 120 guests, CNN reported.

The highly-anticipated event, which took place at the White House’s State Dining Room, had the purpose of strengthening the American-French political alliance and welcoming the politicians to the country. In his speech, Biden toasted to “the enduring alliance between France and United States,” adding that the alliance is “a partnership that’s marked by so many firsts,” per CNN.

Among the guests at the event were actresses Jennifer Garner and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, musicians John Legend and Jon Batiste, designers Henry R. Muñoz III, Laura Kim, and Fernando Garcia, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy, among many others.

Unsurprisingly, the guests all dressed to the nines for the big occasion and you can see some of the best looks of the night below!
