Married At First Sight Australia has already descended into absolute chaos after a guest made a shocking revelation.

During Monday’s season 10 premiere, Jessica Tomlinson confronted bride Bronte Schofield minutes after she tied the knot to Harrison Boon and revealed she had some dirt about the groom.

The guest told the 29-year-old online beauty educator that she actually recognised her new husband because he was dating her friend just days before their nuptials.

‘I need to tell you something,’ she told Bronte as she explaining she has a friend from Sydney who had actually mentioned Harrison to her.

She added: ‘She told me about this guy that’s going to go on MAFS and that she has been dating for the last month and a half… It’s him, it’s Harrison.’

Jessica said Harrison actually told her friend he wanted to get back with her after he finished on the reality show, and he planned to spent every weekend with her.
Bronte refused to believe the guest at first, replying: ‘No, no, you’re f***ing lying’, but Jessica said she had a photo of him on her phone.

‘That’s him,’ she said. ‘Yesterday, the day before the wedding, she sent me a picture saying he’s packing his bags. And he is about to go get married to someone on MAFS.’

She took out her phone and showed Bronte some messages Harrison had exchange with her friend.

Bronte calmed herself down and went to confront him about the wild accusations, as she said: ‘I need to do this now. Like I need to, can I just go do this now?’

Although Harrison tried to play down Jessica’s claims about her friend, he eventually admitted he had been ‘seeing’ a number of different girls before going on the show.

He said: ‘I was seeing a number of girls before I came into this. I’m a single guy in Sydney and I didn’t know if [the show] was gonna last a week, a month, the entire experiment…’

However, he argued that he isn’t ‘in a relationship with anyone’ and that he told Jessica’s friend he was all-in on the show and so their romance couldn’t continue.

He added: ‘I’m not in a relationship with anyone. They’re just people that I was seeing… I told her that I was giving this a hundred percent and it wouldn’t be right for us to continue.’

Married At First Sight Australia is currently airing on 9Now in Australia. UK viewers can watch previous series on demand via Channel 4.
