Meghan Markle's Ex-Husband Went Public with His New Wife 2 Days After Archie's Christening

Talk about a coincidence. Meghan Markle’s ex-husband Trevor Engelson walked a red carpet with his new wife, Tracey Kurland, two days after baby Archie’s christening. Engelson and Kurland, who wed in May 2019, made their debut as a married couple at the season 3 premiere of Snowfall in Los Angeles on Monday, July 8.

The newlyweds looked happy as could be as they walked the red carpet for FX’s Snowfall, which Engelson is an executive producer on. The red carpet debut came two days after Engelson’s ex-wife, the Duchess of Sussex, celebrated the christening of her first child, a son named Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, with her new husband, Prince Harry, on Saturday, July 6. To make matters even more awkward, Engelson and Kurland’s California wedding in May also happened a few days after the former Suits actress gave birth to baby Archie.

Markle and Engelson, who were married for two years, started dating in 2004 and wed in Jamaica in 2011. They filed for divorce in 2013 — three years before the now-Duchess of Sussex met Prince Harry. According to a source for Us Weekly, Engelson isn’t interested in Markle’s life and wants to keep his separate from hers. “Trevor doesn’t really think about Meghan, as he’s in a very happy relationship and about to be married,” the source told Us Weekly.. “He will not be reaching out to congratulate them, as Meghan and Trevor no longer speak.”

This morning, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was christened in the Private Chapel at Windsor Castle at an intimate service officiated by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are so happy to share the joy of this day with members of the public who have been incredibly supportive since the birth of their son. They thank you for your kindness in welcoming their first born and celebrating this special moment. Their Royal Highnesses feel fortunate to have enjoyed this day with family and the godparents of Archie. Their son, Archie, was baptised wearing the handmade replica of the royal christening gown which has been worn by royal infants for the last 11 years. The original Royal Christening Robe, made of fine Honiton lace lined with white satin, was commissioned by Queen Victoria in 1841 and first worn by her eldest daughter. It was subsequently worn for generations of Royal christenings, including The Queen, her children and her grandchildren until 2004, when The Queen commissioned this handmade replica, in order for the fragile historic outfit to be preserved, and for the tradition to continue. We don’t blame Engelson. He and Markle have been divorced for more than six years, and judging from their recent milestones, they have a lot to celebrate in their lives that don’t include each other. Markle is a new mom and wife, and Engelson is ready to take on the next chapter of his life with his new wife. Congrats to both happy couples.
