No Dragon Age: Dreadwolf or Skate until after March 2024 says EA

Don’t expect Dragon Age: Dreadwolf to launch in the next 12 months as it’s missing from EA’s release schedule for the 2024 fiscal year.

It feels like EA and BioWare have talked a lot about Dragon Age: Dreadwolf without ever really saying anything. Despite some concept art, vague plot details, and the promise of the game reaching the alpha stage in late 2022, fans haven’t really seen any proper footage.

There was that purportedly leaked gameplay, showing off some God Of War style combat, alongside a report of it retaining elements of its origins as a multiplayer title, but BioWare itself has yet to share anything official.

That same report called a 2023 launch optimistic and now EA’s latest fiscal report unambiguously confirms that it won’t be out this year, nor early 2024.

EA recently published its financial results for the most recent quarter and the 2023 fiscal year as a whole, both of which ended in March.

In a section highlighting games scheduled for the 2024 fiscal year 0 which runs from April 2023 to March 2024 – it lists the likes of EA Sports FC and Immortals Of Aveum but not Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, effectively confirming it won’t be out until April 2024 at the earliest.

With EA listed as one of Summer Game Fest’s partners, perhaps it’ll throw us a bone and have something new to show for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf in the coming months… and hopefully something more than just more concept art.

Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is in development for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
