Serena Williams has welcomed her second child with husband Alexis Ohanian.

The tennis icon, 41, confirmed her pregnancy in May at the Met Gala beside the Reddit co-founder, 40, unveiling her baby bump in the most stylish way possible.

After the couple held an iconic gender reveal party, they shared a video on TikTok earlier today, revealing their baby girl, named Adira River Ohanian, had arrived.

In the brief clip, which was set to Bazzi’s hit Beautiful, the pair could be seen having a catch up with their eldest daughter, Alexis Olympia.

Dressed in a bright pink hoodie, the new mom told her family that she would ‘be right back’, before returning with their new arrival.

She kissed her husband and cuddled Alexis, before they all cozied up to the little one.

The adorable footage ended with a string of family polaroids as they celebrated the new addition.

The athlete simply captioned the clip: ‘Welcome my beautiful angel.’

It was down to proud new dad Alexis to share more details about Adira’s arrival, uploading a family portrait on Instagram.

‘Welcome, Adira River Ohanian. I’m grateful to report our house is teaming with love: a happy & healthy newborn girl and happy & healthy mama. Feeling grateful,’ he captioned the post.

‘@serenawilliams you’ve now given me another incomparable gift — you’re the GMOAT. Thanks to all the amazing medical staff who took care of my wife & our daughter.

‘I’ll never forget the moment I introduced @olympiaohanian to her baby sister.’

He added the quote: ‘”Your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea.”’

Fans were quick to offer their congratulatory messages in the comments below, sharing their well wishes for the family.

A follower wrote: ‘Congratulations! I hope you feel as wonderful as you look!’

Another said: ‘Congratulations! Welcome to the world lil one!!!’

‘Wow congratulations, welcome angel, Blessings on you,’ one agreed.

‘Congratulations. Happy for your safe and healthy delivery and a healthy baby,’ a TikTok user replied.

As a commenter added: ‘Congratulations to the whole family! Well done mama and I pray you have a healthy healing process.’

Serena and Alexis first met in Rome in 2015, and have been inseparable ever since, announcing their engagement the following year.

In September, 2017, they started a family when they welcomed Alexis Olympia together, before tying the knot that November in a star-studded ceremony.

However, Serena has been open about how tough she found her first pregnancy, and detailed the ordeal she endured in the delivery room, sharing that she almost lost her life.

In a candid open letter in the pages of Vogue last year, she spoke of plans to expand her family with the businessman, explaining: ‘We recently got some information from my doctor that put my mind at ease and made me feel that whenever we’re ready, we can add to our family.’

She explained that it was unfair to have to choose between her tennis efforts and her family life, but conceded that ‘something’s got to give’.

‘If I were a guy, I wouldn’t be writing this because I’d be out there playing and winning while my wife was doing the physical labor of expanding our family,’ she continued.

‘These days, if I have to choose between building my tennis résumé and building my family, I choose the latter.’

In typically stylish form, Serena revealed her second pregnancy on the red carpet at the Met Gala, cradling her baby bump in front of the cameras.

‘There’s three of us here,’ she told Vogue at the time. ‘I’m good, I’m really good now. I can breathe, I can stop, I’m not hiding…’
