Grab a tub of Scooby Snacks — because the new Scooby-Doo movie is on its way… and the trailer for Scoob is out now to get you fully pumped for all the fun.
The new movie trailer for Warner Bros. Pictures’ animated flick gives a glimpse into how the new film plans to reinvent the TV classic for the modern age. Think Will Forte as Shaggy, Zac Ephron as Fred, Amanda Seyfried as Daphne, and Gina Rodriguez as Velma.
The trailer also reveals some pretty important bits about the friend group’s origin story — including the moment Shaggy first met Scooby-Doo… and how he gave his instant new bestie his famous name. (We’ll let you watch the trailer to hear Shaggy tell it in his own words.)
Later, the pals met Fred, Daphne, and Velma, and the rest is history for TV’s beloved Mystery Gang. The new flick features the whole crew in action trying to defeat the villain known as Blue Falcon.
And it seems fans are pretty into what they see already —the Scoob trailer is currently the No. 4 trending clip on YouTube.
Ephron took to social media to tweet the clip excitedly sharing the new trailer.
