Steve-O detained by police after leaping off Tower Bridge in latest wild stunt

Steve-O decided to jump off Tower Bridge for his latest stunt, but got himself in a bit of bother.

The Jackass star, who is still living up to his wild reputation, is currently touring the UK as he films his third comedy special and he found another way to get people talking.

Steve-O, 49, counting down before diving off the bridge into the River Thames with a Union Jack umbrella in his hand.

A crowd of people had gathered to watch him, and people can be heard shouting in surprise in footage shared by TMZ.

Later in the video, police can be seen waiting for him as he gets back to safety and pulls his T-shirt back on, before being ushered into the back of a police car.

He was let go shortly after and told the outlet that officers were concerned that his stunt could inspire other people to jump off the famous London landmark, and potentially die in the process.

Meanwhile, Steve-O also revealed he jumped off the top of one of London’s iconic red double-decker buses.

He insisted that was actually harder to land than his Tower Bridge jump, mainly due to the impact of concrete compared to hitting the water.

He shared images on his Instagram Story as he leaped off the bus with a Union Jack flag held over his head.

He’s currently on the UK leg of his Bucket List Tour, which started in the United States with a show in Cheyenne, Wyoming in January.

Having already stopped off in cities like Manchester during his run on these shores, he has five more dates to go, including Birmingham and London.

‘This UK tour is so much fun, I could not be more thrilled to be taping my Bucket List special in London… I’ll see you there,’ wrote on Instagram earlier this week.

It will follow Guilty as Charged, which was released in 2016, and 2020’s Gnarly, while he is best known for appearing alongside the likes of Johnny Knoxville and Bam Margera on Jackass.
