Jeremy Clarkson has been branded ‘useless’ by Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? fans for failing to help contestants with the Ask The Host lifeline.
Poor Jezza hasn’t known the answer to any of the four questions put to him by competitors over the last two nights.
Tonight, the former Top Gear host even joked that he’s ‘useless for the rest of your time here’ after a contestant got a car-related question right.
First up was solicitor Barry, who asked Jeremy a question worth £32,000 about the chef Joel Robuchon.
The presenter was stumped, leaving Barry to walk away with £16,000.
Next was teacher Antonia, who turned to Jeremy at the £16,000 stage.
He closed the show by deadpanning to viewers: ‘Tonight, I didn’t know anything. Most of the contestants didn’t know anything.’
Jeremy also failed to come up with the goods when two contestants used their Ask The Host lifeline in Tuesday night’s episode.
And it seems viewers at home are starting to notice a trend with Jez and the questions being aimed at him.
The options were: A. Le Mans 24 Hours B. Indy 500 C. Monaco Grand Prix D. Island of Man TT.
When Jeremy was asked by a fan if he knew the answer, he replied: ‘I b****y did. I wish he’d phoned a friend for Table Mountain.’
