Beauty fan praises ‘wonderful’ £2 Primark mascara and shares snaps proving it hasn’t budged an inch after a night shift

A £2 Primark mascara is being hailed as “wonderful” by a beauty fan who have compared it to a Benefit product ten times the price.

Taking to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing & Bargains UK, run by money saving mum Holly Smith, the woman shared a snap of her eyelashes after using two mascaras from the bargain high street store.

And she revealed that neither the Fake It nor the Billion Dollar La$he$ had budged an inch during her night shift.

She shared a second photo of her wearing the same mascara which had remained intact following seven hours of sleep.

Captioning her post she wrote: “Primark Mascara!!! Who knew! ?

“After reading the posts on here and many many positive comments, I headed down to Primarni to fetch myself some.

“Couldn't find the one in the last post, so got 3 (yes, 3!) others instead! All 3 still cost much less than my usual trusty fav Benefit Bad Gal one!

“My right eye has Billion Dollar Lashes, left has the Fake It. I also tried the silver tube one called Wonderlash which was totally "wonder-ful" too!”

“Anyways, forgot to take pic when first applied, but was so impressed with how it still looked after 8 hr nightshift that wanted to share! Seriously just as good as my Benefit one!”

And fellow group members were seriously impressed by her review, with many eager to go out and try the mascaras for themselves.

One wrote: “Will be getting some of that, looks fab. Thank you”

Another fan agreed adding: “I use it all the time and it’s brilliant and only need one coat and does not dry up win win.”

“I have them… They're amazing for the price” said a third.
