A COUPLE’S popcorn-themed engagement announced has been mocked for a very embarrassing spelling mistake – but not everyone has spotted it.
The happy couple shared a loved-up snap of themselves, with the bride-to-be flashing her ring.
They decided to announce the happy news by sending out bags of popcorn to their friends and family.
They included labels on the front which say: "He popped the question!"
But they added a diamond ring before the letter ‘o’, with the unfortunate placement making it look as if the word almost spelled ‘pooped’ instead.
Not everyone picked up on the blunder – including the couple.
Having a sly dig, one Facebook friend commented on the photo, saying: “So stinking happy for you – congratulations!”
The hilarious announcement has since gone viral after being uploaded to Reddit, with people cracking multiple jokes about the unfortunate lettering.
One person said: “It came from the bowels of his heart.”
Another commented: “Holy c*** they got engaged??

A third said: “I guess he had to hide the ring somewhere!”
Someone else quipped: “Maybe he had a pro lapse in judgement.”
Another joked: “Pretty soon they’ll say their ‘I doos’.”
While this person asked: “It is a shame that the word 'popped' doesn't have a round letter in it they could have replaced with the picture of a ring.”
