Holly Willoughby and Maura Higgins lead the fashion hits at the TV Choice Awards… while Alison King misses the style mark

IT'S one of the biggest nights in the showbiz calendar and celebs are already arriving in style for tonight's TV Choice Awards.

Stars including Holly Willoughby and Maura Higgins brought their best fashion game, but not everyone hit the style mark, with Alison King opting for a dated look.

STYLE HITS

Holly Willoughby led the way, looking effortlessly chic in a mini shirt dress with frill hem.

The mum-of-three paired the printed autumnal dress with strappy heels by Gina Shoes, posing with Phillip Schofield on the red carpet, who looked handsome in a black suit.

Katherine Ryan also looked stylish, arriving at the awards in a white jumpsuit.

The 36-year-old looked glam in the asymmetric style, which featured embellished shoulders and a cinched-in waist.

Katherine teamed it with a cute blue buckle micro bag and matching, multi-coloured crocodile print heels.

Love Island's Maura Higgins brought the glam at tonight's awards and sparkled on the red carpet in a stunning gold maxi dress with cut-out detail.

The sequin-embellished design also featured a thigh-high leg slit and Maura paired the dress with gold jewellery and strappy heeled sandals.

Fellow Love Islanders Amber Gill, Lucie Donlan and India Reynolds looked glamorous tonight, with Amber opting for a sparkly one-shoulder gown while Lucie and India chose black dresses.

Lucie wore a plunge neck maxi style while India opted for a a strapless LBD.

Also dazzling on the red carpet was Billie Faiers who arrived with husband Greg Shepherd.

29-year-old Billie wore a silver and pink sparkly mini dress with extravagant bow detail.

The eye catching style is by designer Zeynep Kartal.

Billie posed for a snap with sister Sam, who arrived with husband Paul Knightley.

Mum-of-two Sam, 28, wore a dazzling emerald gown with extravagant faux fur jacket.

Rochelle Humes, 30, also looked chic, wearing a black and baby pink button-up trouser suit with silk cami top and black heels.

Olivia Attwood looked incredible in a floor-length white lace gown, while TOWIE co-star Shelby Tribble wore a figure-hugging turquoise dress with a daring leg slit.

Susanna Reid also opted for a blue number, wearing a strapless gown and silver court heels as she arrived this evening.

The Good Morning Britain presenter posed with co-host Piers Morgan on the red carpet.

STYLE MISSES

Not everyone hit the style mark, however.

While we're fans of Helen George's on-trend mini dress – which she teamed with baby pink heels – we weren't keen on the statement shoulders.

We also didn't go wild for Alison King's dated monochrome look.

The Corrie actress wore a caped white mini dress with a black waist belt and knee-high black boots.

Last month, it was reported that the 46-year-old was engaged to her "mystery partner".

Meanwhile,  Kathy Kiera Clarke wore an unflattering pink and beige gown with ruched detail.

The actress teamed the printed dress with a black clutch and wore her hair in a high bun.

In other fashion news, we told you Asda is selling matching mum and daughter Halloween unicorn, cat and witch costumes priced from £5.

We also revealed a 'lazy’ groom blasted for walking down the aisle in creased shorts and a t-shirt.
And we showed you Pandora's Little Mermaid charms featuring Ariel, Flounder and Sebastian – and they’ll make perfect Christmas gift.
