I bought a house for £47k – after doing it up I now rent it out for £26k a YEAR… and it’s the third one I own

A SAVVY bloke with some serious DIY skills bought a run down house for £47k at auction and completely transformed it to the perfect student pad.

The handy man totally refurbished the whole property with the help of his wife and the results are absolutely stunning.

Each room in the house came complete with its own bathroom and a study area, so it was perfect for anyone at university who likes the finer things.

Having completely gutted the dowdy house, James transformed it into a chic pad with exposed brick, modern wood and a black and white colour scheme.

Posting with the handle @Jamesproperty_ showed off each of the rooms.

The bright kitchen had a breakfast bar, wood panelled wall with neon sign and sleek black kitchen units, a far cry from the shoddy state he bought the house in.

The popular video has racked up more than 39k likes on TikTok with hundreds commenting on the transformation.

One said: "I usually don't like real estate TikTok but this is different. Very cool hustle and it also seems helpful to students."

Another said: "If I was a student I'd live here!"

A third said: "Congratulations, your home looks awesome. Looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful home."

A third said: "Wow looks great, I'd love to live there next year if it's in the right location."
