I have 150 siblings on my dad’s side & I’m about to have 151 – this may not even be the last

A MAN born into Canada’s largest polygamist family has revealed that another addition will be joining the family – taking his number of siblings from 150 to 151.

Murray Blackmore, who grew up with one father and 27 mothers, said there’s been "news of another pregnancy".

Murray, who is his father’s 65th child, revealed the information on Tiktok, where he often explains the ins and outs of life growing up in a polygamist commune.

In his most recent update video, Murray said: “There’s been news of another pregnancy. My sibling number will rise to 151.”

He added that this might not even be the last of his parents’ kids.

He said: “I don’t know if this is the last, I couldn’t tell you, but with what’s left of my parents, they’re still having kids.”

Murray and his siblings have previously taken to Tiktok to describe their experiences of growing up in a huge polygamist family.

The siblings went to their own school, and instead of living with their mothers, the teenagers all lived in a "motel house" together.

Murray sometimes refers to the family as a family, but occasionally he calls the group a “cult”.

He says this is because, leading up to 2002, his family was a part of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, which is a Mormon denomination.

Then, when many families began to leave the religion, there was greater pressure on remaining families to stick around.

Murray says this made his family pressure the kids into religion in a “cult-like mentality”.

Now, however, he says things are changing and “we’re moving from a cult to more of a family”.

Murray’s announcement of his new sibling’s upcoming arrival racked up 1.5 million views and commenters were stunned.

“If I’m honest this is too far”, wrote one viewer, while a second said: “You’re kidding, right?”

Another asked: “Is this a joke?”
