I used three Dollar Tree products to recreate a $30 Amazon item – it saved me money and only took five minutes to make

A CRAFTY TikToker is sharing how she recreated a $30 Amazon item by using three Dollar Tree products.

The hack saved Joy, who goes by @joyfullytreasured, time and money while achieving the same purpose.

The Amazon product, a Farmhouse Metal Magnetic Lint Bin, retails for$30.99. The bin is meant to be mounted on laundry room walls.

Joy used three Dollar Tree products to achieve the same look: a plastic wastebasket, stickers, and a black sharpie.

The TikTok shows her process of recreating the Amazon version with her cheaper products.

"No thanks to the $30 version on Amazon," she captioned the video.

Using the stickers, Joy spells out "Lint" on the plastic wastebasket.

She then colors the brim of the basket black.

Joy also wrote in the comments section that she has the basket attached to the wall with two thumbtacks, spaced about three inches apart. She noted that screws or nails would also work.

Many TikTokers commended her for the hack.
