I work in a lab – I was dress-coded on the job & people are shocked when I tell them what got me into trouble | The Sun

A LAB worker has told how she was dress coded on the job for a ridiculous reason – that nobody can work out.

TikTok user @jksheo shared a video explaining she had been told off for violating the clothing policy at work.

But social media users had no idea why she had been reprimanded for simply wearing her scrubs.

In the clip, the woman is seen propping her phone up in a bathroom stall to provide a clear view of her uniform.

@jksheo, donning a surgical mask, is seen wearing a matching black shirt and pants, with a burgundy long-sleeved top underneath.

The dark-haired lab worker has her locks tied back and sports black nail varnish on her fingers.

Despite it seeming as though she is donning nothing inappropriate, her bosses had a differing opinion.

Social media users were left baffled as to how the TikToker had supposedly violated the dress code policy.

@jksheo wrote on the clip: "I got dress coded at work," alongside a raised eyebrow emoji.

She then teased users in the caption by writing: "You won't guess for what."

Some people initially suspected she was a nurse, leading them to believe she was dress coded for her nail varnish or not wearing a cap to cover her hair.

But she quelled confusion about her job by confessing she works in a lab – leaving people even more puzzled.

One stumped user wrote: "WAIT FOR WHAT?"

Another joked: "You're shirt – the cut is way too low you're showing far too much neck."

And a third suggested: " For the headphones right? Your hair? The nails?"

The lab worker then put perplexed TikTok users out of their misery and revealed the mystery dress code violation.

She said: "I didn't have a zipper on the top. That's all they cared about."

People could hardly believe the woman had been confronted over the tiny detail, blasting the barmy ruling.

We previously told how a model was dress coded at a theme park as her "big breasts make people uncomfortable."
