Meghan Markle latest news – Top royals want to PUNCH Prince Harry after recent shocking behaviour, Mike Tindall jokes

MEGHAN & Harry are facing criticism for flying by private jet from New York to California – a journey that emits 17t of carbon emissions.

After flying across the country in their private jet, the Duke and Duchess touched down in Santa Barbara and were pictured embracing their team.

It comes just hours after they went on stage at a gig that called for climate change action – and demanded tough new eco laws to halve US emissions by 2030.

Harry and Meghan spoke at the star-studded Global Citizen Live concert in New York — dubbed “Wokestock.”

Royal author Penny Junor, 71, told The Sun: “I do think this is hypocrisy. I’m sure there were plenty of scheduled flights.”

She added: “I do not understand why they are behaving as if they are superstars. His father has been known to take scheduled flights. His brother takes scheduled flights. This totally muddies the waters of their climate message. They are shooting themselves in the foot by taking private flights.”

    ‘Royal version of Kardashians’

The Sun’s new columnist, Piers Morgan, says the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been a “relentless orgy of money-grabbing duplicity” since moving to the US.

But while the Kardashians, who have made their millions from life in the public eye, are “honest” about their mission to become billionaires, Meghan and Harry are not – according to Piers.

He said the former royals “have their noses permanently rammed in the regal trough” and “intend to keep them there until they’ve made themselves repulsively rich and famous”.

“In this regard, they’re the royal version of the Kardashians,” Piers writes in the Daily Mail.

He describes them as “people with no discernible talent other than for pimping themselves out to the highest bidders and a craven desire to air their dirty family linen in public for financial gain.”

But the journalist, who will soon make his comeback to The Sun, says at least the Kardashians’ mission to be billionaire TMI merchants is “founded on a basic honesty”.

“They don’t pretend to be talented or saving the planet,” he adds.

    “The hypocrisy is breath-taking.”

Meghan Markle wants to star in superhero movie, expert claims

The Duchess of Sussex wants to return to the big screen and star in a superhero film, it has been suggested to royal biographer Angela Levin.

Suggestions were made earlier this week that Meghan, 40, may go back on her decision to retire her acting career – and star in a blockbuster film.

Sources said in early 2020 that her agent was actively looking for a superhero role for the Duchess – but plans were seemingly halted by the Covid pandemic.

Speaking about what’s next for the Duchess in the post-pandemic world, Ms Levin told the Sun Online: “I heard that Meghan had gone back on saying that she’s not going back to doing acting.

“She wants to be the star of a superhero in a film.”

Meghan Markle’s secret tribute to Archie and Lilibet

Eagle-eyed fans spotted the mum-of-two was wearing a gold bracelet which featured their names.

Their monikers were engraved on the beautiful band as Meghan visited the United Nations on Saturday.

One royal fan said on Twitter: “Her personalised jewellery is so cute. I love how everything has sentimental value.”

While another added: “Cute. Meghan is really a sweetheart.”

Alongside the golden band, the Duchess wore Princess Diana’s $23,000 (£16,642) gold Cartier watch and a £5,800 Cartier Love bracelet, which we’ve seen in the past.

Selling to pay off a lawsuit

Prince Andrew is close to selling his £17.5million Swiss chalet in a luxury ski resort in a bid to pay off a lawsuit from the former owner.

Isabelle de Rouvre sold the Yorks the huge seven-bedroom lodge for £18million in 2014 but last year began pursuing them through the courts, alleging they still owed her £6.7million.

Madame de Rouvre, 74, had become a friend of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, both 60, when they repeatedly rented the chalet.

It is said to boast a 60sq metre indoor pool, a sauna, bar and entertaining area.

Madame de Rouvre employed six full-time staff and let it for more than £22,000-a-week.

After selling it to the Yorks, who remained pals after their 1996 divorce, she claims they missed a December 31 2019 deadline to pay the outstanding amount.

Now, according to The Times, its thought Rouvre has dropped the case – because the chalet is in the final stage of being sold for roughly £17.3million.

    Word ban for Kate’s nanny

WHEN it comes to childcare, unsurprisingly, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have the cream of the crop.

Maria Borrallo trained at the prestigious Norland College in Bath, and as part of her training she was instructed not to say one word in particular.

Norland expert Louise Heren, and author of Nanny in a Book, discovered that there is one word Maria must not say on the job.

Speaking to the Mirror, Louise explained that that Norland nannies are banned from saying ‘kids’ and must instead use the children’s names at all times.

Louise says: “The word kid is banned. It’s a mark of respect for the children as individuals.”

    Harry and the rock star

The Duke of Sussex will head back to the big apple weeks after he and wife Meghan took to the stage for their “vacuous and nauseating” Covid concert appearance.

This time round, father-of-two Harry will present without his wife at the Intrepid Valour Awards, hosted onboard the historic aircraft carrier Intrepid.

Singer Bon Jovi will also appear to receive his lifetime achievement award.

The event at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum falls one day before Armistice Day – known as Veterans Day in America.

Harry, a retired Army major who served two tours of Afghanistan as Captain Wales, stepped away from royal duties in March 2020 before he and Meghan moved their family to the US.

Woman agrees to testify against Andrew

Shukri Walker is prepared to testify against the Duke of York and reveal details of an alleged encounter she had with him at Tramp nightclub in London in 2001.

Ms Walker has already given a written statement to the FBI saying she vividly remembers seeing Andrew with the then 17-year-old, the Mirror reports.

And now she will “do her duty” if called up as a witness, her lawyer said.

Virginia, now 38, claims she was forced to have sex with the duke in London, at Jeffrey Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse and on his Caribbean island.

One of the instances where Virginia claims she was forced to have sex with the Prince was after the trip to Tramp in Mayfair.

      No backing down (Continued…)

In June, Simon Dorante-Day made the outrageous claim his teeth were ground flat by a dentist to make him look less royal.

He claims he was “pinned” down by a dentist to shave down his sharp canines and erase any similarities to the Royal Family.

Sharing a picture of the Queen, Durante-Day wrote: “This photo exemplifies why my canine teeth were ground flat.”

Durante-Day was born in Gosport, Hamps, in April 1966.

He has filed papers to the High Court in a bid to force the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall to take a DNA test.

The engineer claims his adoptive grandparents Winifred and Ernest worked as a cook and gardener for the Queen and Prince Philip and told him “many times” he was Charles and Camilla‘s child.

He also believes the names of his birth parents are “fictitious” and the official documents from his adoption are written in his mum’s handwriting.

Not surprisingly, Charles and Camilla have not responded to his claims.

      Proving himself into existence

An Australian man who has wildly claimed to be Prince Charles’ secret son has shared an e-mail he says proves he sent a paternity letter to the royal.

Simon Dorante-Day published an email that alleges that Detective Inspector Dave Smith from the Royalty and Specialist Protection unit handed over a letter he had written to the Prince’s aides.

The letter in question allegedly outlined his belief that Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall are his parents.

In the 2015 email posted to Facebook, Smith allegedly wrote: “Just to confirm that I received the letter you sent by airmail addressed to me.

“I opened the outer packaging containing my details.

“The inner letter addressed to the Prince I took by hand, unopened, to the Princes’ correspondence team. I hope this is suitable.”

There is no proof that the email Dorante-Day published to his Facebook page is real.

Dorante-Day claims to have released the email to prove that he has been trying privately to solve the paternity case before he went public.

      Meghan’s sweet tribute to Diana

During Harry and Meghan’s appearance at the Global Citizen Live concert in Central Park, New York on Saturday Meghan was spotted holding the Dior Lady D-Lite handbag.

This bag was one of the go-to bags favoured by Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana.

The bag was originally called the Chouchou (French for “favourite”) and was given to Diana in 1995 by French Prime Minister Jacques Chirac’s wife Bernadette.

The princess soon snapped up the bag in several colours and even carried it with her during one of her own trips to New York when she attended the 1996 Met Gala.

In fact, Diana loved the bag so much, its name was changed to the Lady Dior bag that same year, according to Vogue.

Previous tributes to her children (Continued…)

It’s not the first time Meghan has paid tribute to her two children with her jewellery.

Meghan released a video in honour of her 40th birthday and her necklaces had a very poignant secret meaning.

The Duchess of Sussex wore two astrological necklaces from LA brand Logan Hollowell, which featured the star sign constellations of Archie and Lilibet.

Archie, two, was born on May 6, 2019, which makes him a Taurus, and Meghan is wearing the corresponding necklace, which is worth £1,149.

Meanwhile, Lilibet was born on June 4 this year, making her a Gemini, with her constellation necklace setting Meghan back £1,282, bringing the total of the two necklaces to £2,431.

During the New York tour in September 2021, Archie and Lilibet were said to remain at their £11million mansion in Santa Barbara, California.

Palace ‘bent backwards’ to help Meghan

The Palace “bent over backwards” to help Meghan Markle adjust to royal life, a royal expert has claimed.

In the bombshell piece, the author of Meghan: A Hollywood Princess, Andrew Morton, also claimed a “formidable backroom staff” spent hours reporting trolls for the Duchess of Sussex.

In six new chapters of the book that was first published in 2018, Mr Morton said: “Far from abandoning Meghan, the Palace had a team which spent ‘hundreds of hours monitoring social media accounts’ and ‘violent threats were reported to police,” he wrote.

      ‘Vacuous, nauseating cheerleaders and hypocrites’

This is a piece by Angela Levin, Prince Harry’s biographer

Watching Prince Harry and Meghan’s arrogance and hypocrisy on their preachy tour of New York appals me.

The three day visit felt like the launch of a woke alternative to the Royal Family that we have in the UK; a push for everybody to ditch them to follow Harry and Meghan, who understand young people and the issues that matter.

Their appearance at the Global Citizen concert was nauseating.

Harry was like a cheerleader, or master of ceremonies, whipping up the crowd with shouts of ‘Come on, we want this!’ and the crowd yelling ‘Yeah!’ and Meghan chipping in with, ‘It’s got to happen.’

When the reality is they are not experts about COVID-19 or climate change.

It’s all so vacuous and superficial, and aimed at a US audience that’s lapping it all up.

Every time this couple makes a move, the hypocrisy grows.

        On the big screen

The couple were accompanied by their personal videographer on their hectic trip this week, sparking rumours they were recording their work.

The cameraman closely followed the Duke and Duchess around the city and even ran ahead of them for the perfect shot before they toured the 9/11 Memorial on Thursday, according to Page Six.

The couple also brought their own photographer, Matt Sayles, to capture key moments on their visit to the Big Apple.

Page Six claimed the couple had been secretly recording the NYC trip for a rumoured Netflix documentary.

It comes after speculation the couple could be making a “fly-on-the-wall documentary about their lives,” as they embrace the spotlight after leaving royal life.

Clues Harry & Meghan were putting on a show in NY

PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle grabbed headlines during their three-day trip to New York this weekend.

But did the visit serve a dual purpose in light of their multi-million dollar TV series deal with Netflix?

The Sussexes raised a few eyebrows with their trip to the Big Apple, which included two visits to the United Nations and a speech at Global Citizen Live – dubbed ‘Wokestock’.

The Sussexes returned to their £10.7million ($14.7M) mansion in Montecito, California, on Saturday and since then fans have speculated whether their trip was being filmed for the streaming giant.

Here we look back at their trip and analyse the key moments that suggest Harry and Meghan’s trip was staged for the cameras.

        • Shy start
        • Harry wore a ‘mic’
        • Meghan’s £67,000 wardrobe
        • Meghan’s tribute to Diana

‘Fighting back to clear his name’

PRINCE Andrew has reportedly vowed to “fight back” to clear his name with claims he has dramatically changed his strategy in the Virginia Roberts sex assault case.

Andrew, 61, has vehemently denied the allegations in the past.

But the prince has finally conceded that the legal papers relating to the sex assault claims have been served.

In a joint stipulation filed on Friday in a US federal court, Andrew’s attorneys confirmed they had received copies of the complaint and summons.

However, Andrew’s lawyers plan to “examine and dismantle the claims one by one”.

A well-placed source said the decision to bring in Andrew Brettler, the Duke’s high-profile US lawyer, marks a “significant turning point” in the proceedings.

“The US team will be looking to robustly engage and challenge the claims from Mrs Giuffre in a bid to provide the Duke with a platform to finally clear his name,” the source said.

        Agreeing to testify

Shukri Walker is prepared to testify against the Duke of York and reveal details of an alleged encounter she had with him at Tramp nightclub in London in 2001.

Ms Walker has already given a written statement to the FBI saying she vividly remembers seeing Andrew with the then 17-year-old, the Mirror reports.

And now she will “do her duty” if called up as a witness, her lawyer said.

Ms Walker’s statement could contradict Prince Andrew’s claim that he had “no recollection” of meeting Ms Giuffre.

The woman, from London, claims she remembers the night because she apologised to Prince Andrew after standing on his foot on the dancefloor.
