Model doesn’t realise she’s pregnant until she’s in labour… after having no baby bump at all – The Sun

A NEW mum who gave birth on her bathroom floor has revealed how she had no idea she was pregnant until she was in labour.

Erin Langmaid, a model from Melbourne, Australia said she had no baby bump and no other signs of pregnancy such as morning sickness.

Despite using contraceptive injections, the 23-year-old gave birth to her little girl, Isla, who weighed a healthy 7lb 14oz.

Erin called it "the biggest shock of her life" when she went into labour, with the birth lasting no more than 10 minutes.

“It was over in about 10 minutes,” she told 7 News.

“I wasn’t showing obviously because I fit into everything. It was just really bizarre.”

The hardest week of our lives, you are my rock. And now you are Isla’s.2 years with you ?

Erin's boyfriend Dan Carty had the fright of his life when he heard Erin screaming from the bathroom.

Admitting he was confused, Dan said he rushed in and thought, "hang on, there's two" after spotting the baby's head.

"I heard a big scream and I ran in there and opened the door and I was worried about her, and then I saw the little one and I thought ‘hang on, there’s two’," he recalled.

But the parents' shock turned to panic when Isla stopped breathing and started turning blue.

Dan made a frantic call to the emergency services and together with the operator's help, the new dad managed to save Isla's life.

Announcing the birth on Instagram, with an adorable snap of Isla and Dan, Erin wrote: "The hardest week of our lives, you are my rock. And now you are Isla’s."

Meanwhile, new dad Dan wrote his own social media post, explaining: "We want to share with you our new little family member.

"Isla May was brought into the world on Tuesday night, she lived in mummy’s tummy for 9 months without letting us know.

"After an extremely tough few days both mother and daughter are perfectly well and ready to go home.

"The support of our family and friends is something that we will never be able to thank them enough for.
