Proud man shows off newly refurbed home – but cruel trolls say the decor has to go or it'll lower its value | The Sun

A MAN who spent over £80,000 decorating his new home has been slammed for his design choices.

Alfred Dzadey took to social media to show off the transformation claiming he was 'so happy with the outcome.'

In the video he shared a collection of images of the house before and after it was renovated.

The house itself cost Alfred £225,000, he then spent an additional £88,000 on refurbing the house, totalling £313,000.

The front of the house featured a skip outside, and if you look close enough, a giant 'help me' poster was displayed in the top window.

Clearly impressed by the transformation he shared the clips on social media to show people how it could be done – but it seemed cruel trolls weren't impressed.

NO KIDDING

The loft of the house was quickly converted into a modern bedroom and Alfred kept it neutral by using a grey colour scheme.

In other areas of the home, the DIY whizz kept with the grey colour scheme but added a few finishing touches to personalise the space.

In the Kitchen, Alfred had installed a breakfast bar with navy seats and a grey marble splashback.

Along the top of the wall read the word EAT in giant gold letters – someone trolls seemed to be opposed to.

Next in the series of images was the front room where he had created an open-planned kitchen/lounge area also following a neutral grey colour scheme.

To top it off and a personal touch to the otherwise basic design choice – he added a giant sign at the top of the wall which read '# SOCIALISE.'

He added that the property was now worth £360,000 thanks to the new interior design choices.

But it seemed not everyone thought it had worked well.

The clip soon went viral with over 750k views and 16k likes on his TikTok account @alfred_dzadey.

But cruel trolls were quick to dismiss his grey colour scheme and signage used in the house.

Plenty of people took to the comments section mocking his signage which they compared to millennial 'live, laugh, love signs'.

One person wrote: "Why have you put instructions on the walls?"

Another commented: "I love it when my rooms have instructions telling me what to do!"

"#SOCIALISE is lowering the price by £20k alone," penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: "The new live love laugh."

"I like that you labelled each room so you don't forget,” claimed a fifth.
