For the first day of the royal two-day visit to Andorra, the Queen opted for a dress she has worn in public before. Letizia is a fan of sustainable fashion, often recycling her outfits for various events.

Yesterday, Queen Letizia wore a long dark red dress by Italian designer Massimo Dutti.

The dress had long sleeves and a high roll-neck, which was clasped at the back with a button.

The Queen showed off some skin as the dress featured a thin slit, running from just below Letizia’s neck to the middle of her back.

Letizia paired the dress with a black belt, a red handbag, and matching red heels.

The belt, which was leather and ruffled, was by British designer Burberry.

The Queen’s bag was in a leather envelope style and had a gold chain.

It was by Spanish jewellery and accessories brand Reliquia Collective, and called the ‘Archy’ handbag.

As for shoes, Letizia wore wine red pointed heels by Spanish designer brand Magrit, which she has been seen in before.

Letizia recycled her gold bamboo design hoop earrings to match her outfit, and wore her long brunette hair up in a bun.

Her make-up was her usual statement look of thick mascara and a little eyeliner.

Fans of the Spanish queen may recognise Letizia’s red dress from other royal engagements: the first time she wore the Massimo Dutti number was in February this year, for a visit to the National Library in Madrid.

For that particular engagement, Letizia wore the dress underneath a long wool black coat, and paired the outfit with dark red ombre patent shoes called the ‘Sara’ from Spanish shoes brand Lodi.

The dress was a new to Letizia’s wardrobe at the time and cost $315, which is currently equivalent to £228.60.

Letizia often recycles her clothes, demonstrating that she cares about sustainability.

Another example of this is when the Queen re-wore a houndstooth blazer by Spanish designer Uterqüe last Wednesday, March 17.

Letizia wore the black and white blazer for a visit to Toledo, where she was presiding over the announcement of the winner of the Princess of Girona Foundation 2021 Award in the Business category.

However, eagle-eyed fashion experts saw that Letizia wore the blazer with a new pair of tailored black cropped trousers with a tie belt.

The Queen completed the outfit with her black Hugo Boss snakeskin embossed heels, which she has worn on numerous past occasions.

Queen Letizia and King Felipe’s visit to Andorra concluded yesterday with an official state dinner.

The Queen wore a pale pink strapless feathered top, a tie belt, and a pair of slim black trousers.

The royal Spanish couple’s visit in Andorra continues today.
