Snow Xue Gao’s designs have always held a nice balance between East-meets-West, masculine-meets-feminine, with an emphasis on mixed media.
For fall, she developed new takes on signature tailoring and asymmetrical designs, with square necklines influenced by “Bridgerton’s” 19th-century fashions and motifs inspired by the Chinese nursery rhyme (and title of the collection), “Women Are Tigers.” Once again, the designer’s tailored garments excelled; double-sided wool jackets with contrasting printed silk piping proved standout.
