CELEBRITIES are known to switch up their hair, clothes, and makeup, or splash out on surgery to reshape their lips, noses, and breasts.
But according to a plastic surgeon, a number of stars have tweaked their features in a particular way resulting in an unfortunate resting stink face.
Kim Kardashian’s face garnered attention for the wrong reasons after a TikToker has questioned her stink face.
In her clip, Chloe asked why the Skims founder and her sister, Kylie Jenner both looked like they had smelled something unpleasant.
Experts weighed in on the matter as the clip went viral. One said it was because of filler, or filler migration.
Facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Richard Westreich determined a different cause.
He said that Kim, 43, and Kylie, were not the only celebrities suffering the same fate.
Westreich claimed Khloe Kardashian, Megan Fox, and Ashley Tisdale, 38, have stink faces, but the High School Musical star's was particularly bad.
In an exclusive interview, Westreich told The U.S. Sun: “People said Kim and Kylie had a lot of filler in the folds of their nostrils.
“Also in their central face areas which puffs that up and changes the nostril position.

“But really resting stink face is a consequence of Rhinoplasty.”
Westreich cited two factors impacting the position and look of the nose.
“Where the nostrils become the tip after rhinoplasty, this collapses slightly so they get deep shadows there," he said.
“The edge of the nostrils often pull up when there is also a lot of filler in the face.
“Or again, during rhinoplasty a lot of narrowing has been done to the tip and so the nostril becomes downward-facing.
“The Kardashian's nostrils are too old, so their resting stink faces are not going to get as bad as someone like Ashley Tisdale’s."
SLIMMED KIM
Despite Kim’s nose looking slimmer over the years, she has never admitted to getting a rhinoplasty.
Kim has only admitted to using a little bit of Botox during a 2015 interview with Allure.
The Hulu star also said: "Never filled either one (lips or cheeks), ever."
Westreich said: “Kim Kardashian has a resting stink face because the middle part of her nose is pointing down.
“She also has those deep shadows on either side of her tip.
“Kim’s arched eyebrows make it look worse, plus with the lip filler and cheek filler.
“She has a full stink face because all of those things on some level contribute to that.”
KYLIE'S UPS & DOWNS
Kylie, 26, spent years denying that she had any plastic surgery.
During a 2015 KUWTK episode, she said: “I’m not against surgery. I’d never say no, but I don’t desire it right now.”
Later she confessed to getting her breasts done in 2018.
Kylie also told Homme Girls that she got filler because of her lip insecurity.
Westreich said: “Kylie has a stink face where the nostrils point up on the side but then down in the middle where the tip is.
“She has the most downward-facing nostrils.
“This means Kylie has the most pronounced stink face, and with the lip filler as well.”
KHLOE RETRACTS
Khloe Kardashian spoke about her nose job during a 2022 news special.
She told GMA's Robbin Roberts: “My whole life I would say — I’ve always wanted my nose done, forever."
“But it’s in the middle of your face and it’s scary to think about. But I finally got the courage, and I did it, and I love it,” added Khloe.
Westreich said: “Khloe Kardashian has the least amount of stink face.
“She has the column of retraction where the middle is pulled up.
"Khloe has less of a stinky look than the downward one I described that Kylie has.
“It is also less than the forward-facing nostrils or the shadows around the tip which Kim has.
Westrich added: “Otherwise, Kourtney seems fine.
"Kendall’s features do not look particularly stinky apart from her eyebrows.”
MEGAN'S MOVES
Transformers star Megan Fox has changed up her looks through the years. She has never admitted to plastic surgery.
She told Allure in 2010: "I would encourage anyone [who wants plastic surgery] to first speak with a therapist, to try and figure out where this want comes from.”
The New Girl alum added: “If, then, you feel, 'This is something that I want to do,' then do it."
Westreich said: “I had a look at other Hollywood celebrities.
"Megan Fox has a stink face as well, with her arched eyes and shaped nostrils."
Fenty founder and pop star Rihanna is known to have reinvented her looks. She has never admitted to any plastic surgery.
Through the years, her nose appears to have a more defined shape.
"Rhianna also has stink face, " said Westreich.
"But I am not sure what work she has done on her nose."
Another star who is said to have spent thousands on nips and tucks is Gwen Stefani.
In 2004 the former No Doubt singer told People magazine: “I’m hoping my children will save me from my vanity."
She added: "If it doesn’t, plastic surgery is an option … It sucks to have to grow older. We all have to accept it.”
As reported by The U.S. Sun, The Voice coach appears to like filler.
"Despite using plenty of filler, Gwen Stefani looks fine, " said Westreich.
“Otherwise there is Kris Jenner who has a little bit of extreme indents on the side of the nose.
"With her lip uplifted, there is a slight stink face showing."
ASHLEY'S ALTERATIONS
In 2020, Disney alum, Ashley, 35 told how she had her breast implants removed because of health complications.
On rhinoplasty, she opened up in 2021 about getting her nose done in 2007.
“We all make mistakes in life, and part of my self-love journey was to forgive myself for making a quick decision,” Ashley wrote on her blog.
She said: "The decision was based on serious health issues I was having."
Westreich said: “Ashley has one of the worst stink faces and her nose might collapse.
“She looks to have had a removal of the cartilage from the tip and a very old-school type of procedure.
“It is called a parentheses deformity to some degree."
Westreich concluded: “Rhinoplasty is a challenging surgery.
“Stink face is all about the tip and nostrils.
"I used to tell my patients that I call this a snarky nostril.
“Surgeons would be trying to avoid it.
“These celebrities can correct their stink face later on with grafting.
"This would try and force down that outer edge of the nostril a little bit.”
