This holiday season, The Hundreds is the gift that keeps on giving. The brand rounds out the year with a one-of-a-kind collaboration with the “…Baby One More Time” hitmaker, Britney Spears. This capsule transports fans back to the simpler and better era of the ‘90s. Specifically, The Hundreds x Britney Spears collection commemorates the year 1999, a noteworthy time where teen pop icons commanded the charts and became everyone’s heartthrobs.
With this collaboration, The Hundreds reminds this generation of Britney Spears’s celebrated superstardom. Not only was Spears crowned the Princess of Pop, but her ’90s style was nothing short of iconic. Similar to her songs being the soundtrack of the era, her fashion statements defined the youth culture, at the time.
The collection pays tribute to Britney’s momentous influence by bringing back some of her quintessential ’90s looks. Fans can expect the classic Puffy Nylon in a black, pink, and white colorblocking, with the name Britney Spears, scrawled on the back in handwritten cursive. Other era-specific clothing items include Mock-Neck Fleeces, coming in a standout black/pink and vivid orange/blue colorway, both with the year 1999 in block-text prominently placed on the front. Pullover Jackets are available in a ’90s acid yellow, lilac purple and standard black, honoring hit song, “…Baby One More Time” with its chorus stitched on the side of the garment. The oversized Football Jerseys are also a staple to the collection, which comes in a classic black/pink and beige/black. Britney tees and hoodies are also part of the capsule, for those who want a modern twist to ’90s graphics.
Prices range from $39 USD and $159 USD. The collection is now available at The Hundreds, as well as the app, and in-store at The Hundreds Los Angeles flagship on Fairfax and select stockists worldwide.
