The savvy Asda shopping hack that means you’ll get a delicious meal for just 50p | The Sun

FINDING a tasty meal you actually enjoy and doesn't cost a fortune is easier said than done sometimes.

But one savvy shopper has shared their clever hack, and all you need to do is keep an eye out for certain yellow sticker bargains.

Posting the popular Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, she said explains how she makes the most of the reduced grub from the Asda pizza counter.

"Worth looking for the yellow labels that appear on the fresh Asda made pizzas. The very veggie one is absolutely loaded with vegetables," they noted.

But rather than snapping up the reduced pizza and eating it straight away, the foodie has a clever trick to make the most of the bargain.

The shopper explained that they grab one of the large pizzas once they've been reduced at the end of the day, and cut it into four sections, along with the cardboard.

Then each section, plus the cardboard "for support" go into a freezer bag, ready to heat up at a later date.

"It cost me £1.94 for the pizza, that is less than 50p per serving.

"Just cook one piece and put it with some salad, wedges, chips, beans, coleslaw or whatever else you have in -cheap meal."

She noted that she likes "the very veggie one" since it's "absolutely loaded with vegetables" but has also nabbed "the same size cheese overload one for similar price."
