Woman accidentally flashes entire playground of kids through bathroom window – and only realises when she gets a NOTE | The Sun

A WOMAN was left mortified when she received a letter from the school she lives opposite, informing her of a massive faux pas.

Meg explained that she'd been asleep when the note was slipped into her letterbox.

And while she initially thought that the letter had been sent to all residents informing them of construction or something similar, she soon found out that it was "specifically for me".

"I want you to put yourself in my shoes as I read this to you," Meg said in a video on her TikTok page.

She then went on to read the letter, which said: "Dear resident.

"I'm sorry to have to write to you on such a sensitive subject but felt it appropriate to make you aware that your bathroom window can be easily viewed from our nursery playground.

"In the circumstances, we wondered if you would consider purchasing a blind for the window to avoid any embarrassment on behalf of either yourself or our children."

It was signed by the principal.

"When I read this, I was like…" Meg said, with her mouth open in horror.

"I had no idea that they were able to see in. I don't know what they've seen. I don't know how often they've seen it.

"I was so embarrassed leaving the house because I have to face the school.

"How much did they have to see before they sent me this? How much? How often? Where? When?

"I was flabbergasted when I read this this morning, and I was like, right, I guess I can never leave my house again, because they know it's me."

Meg added that she was like the "Ugly Naked Guy" from sitcom Friends, and wondered: "Do you think they have a name for me?"

"I guess it's like a little bit funny," she admitted.

"I mean, I'll never open my blinds again, I tell you that…

"I'm sorry to the school next door."

"I’m moving. Bye," she wrote in the caption.

People were quick to weigh in on the situation, with one writing: "They've seen ENOUGH to have to write to you!"

"That’s the most tactfully written letter. A lot of thought went into that," another added.

"I left a letter like this for the lady across from my sons school bc I noticed when I drop him off there she is in her bra every morning," a third admitted.

"I don’t understand. If there’s nothing on a window, people can see inside as easily as you can see outside?" someone else asked.

To which Meg replied: "It’s a textured glass. Apparently you can’t see out but you can see in."

"So how fast did you run to the bathroom to see what view they were getting?" another questioned, with Meg responding "speed of light".

"I’d move to another universe," someone else insisted.
