Disney World reveals recipe for their three-ingredient Dole Whip dessert

One of the best best bits of going to a Disney Park is the food.

There are themed treats to try around every corner.

And one of the most loved in the simple Dole Whip pineapple ice cream, first introduced in 1986.

And for the first time, Disney has revealed a recipe for the dessert.

People have published their own attempts at recreating it at home for years but Disney hasn’t released their own instructions – until now.

With all the parks closed and everyone in lockdown, they have revealed the recipe to fans.

The recipe appeared on the Disney Parks app for a limited period.

It requires just three ingredients – vanilla ice cream, pineapple juice and frozen pineapple chunks.

The stuff you get in Disney Parks is vegan but you can make it with any ice cream you have.

You’ll also need a blender and a star-tipped piping bag to make it at home.

To make it, just put 1 big scoop of ice cream, four oz of pineapple juice and two cups of frozen pineapple (which is about 490g) into a blender and blend until smooth.

Then put the mixture into a piping bag and pipe swirls like they do at the Disney parks.

If you don’t have a piping bag, you can use a sandwich bag with the corner cut off.

It’s not the only recipe Disney has released.

They also revealed how to make churros like the ones found at the park last week.

And there might be more recipes from the parks to come so you can recreate the experience at home during quarantine.
