Giada De Laurentiis Has Every Super Bowl Snack Recipe You Could Possibly Need

Believe it or not, Super Bowl LIV is this Sunday; and if you’re anything like us, you haven’t quite settled on the perfect Game Day menu. Should we order wings again? Should we stick to the same ‘ole bag of Lay’s and French onion dip? No, this year, we’re asking ourselves, “What would Giada De Laurentiis make?” And as it turns out, the Food Network host’s Super Bowl menu is a mouthwatering mix of football food staples, like cheesy, deep-fried bites, wings, and football-shaped pizzas, and “healthier” options, like stuffed dates, avocado hummus, and white bean dip, and much, much more.

Last week, De Laurentiis did us all a solid and posted to her website her “go-to Game Day goodies,” a list of more than 15 easy appetizers, dishes, and desserts, to consider making. Why so many options? De Laurentiis’ motto for Super Bowl entertaining is “a little bit of everything, and not a lot of anything,” after all.

In lieu of French onion dip or ranch dip, we’re opting for De Laurentiis’ white bean dip with pita chips — what she describes as “the Italian version of hummus.” It takes less than 30 minutes to make this easy starter. Keep in mind that this recipe serves six, so if you’re hosting a party, you might want to make two, making three servings.

You can’t have a Super Bowl party without pizza. And if you’ll have kids around, you’ll definitely want to make both the football pizza (another quick-and-easy recipe) and De Laurentiis’ sausage and broccoli pizza for the grown-ups.

This sausage and broccoli pizza is a “Neapolitan-style pizza topped with spicy Italian sausage, broccoli, and homemade red sauce,” her website states.

Looking for a couple new wing recipes? De Laurentiis has you covered there, too, with her Mediterranean chili wings and spicy tequila lime wings.

You’ll need to marinate the wings in the fridge for two to four hours, so you’ll want to start prepping well before the game starts.

De Laurentiis also has recipes for twice-baked potatoes with mushrooms and prosciutto, warm artichoke and bacon dip, cheesy mortadella bites, hot Italian sausage-stuffed dates, and fried ravioli if those recipes also catch your eye.

Of course, no party is complete without dessert, and De Laurentiis has not one, not two, but three desserts from which to choose: a savory red pepper cheesecake, espresso caramel bars, and salted double chocolate popcorn cookies.

This three-cheese cheesecake has an unexpected savory ingredient: sweet red peppers.

Sea salt sprinkled caramel candy bars? Yes — a thousand times yes.

You’re probably popping popcorn for the big game so why not add some to your…cookies? Hey, if Giada says it’s delicious, we’ll believe her. For the perfect batch of cookies, you’ll want to refrigerate the sea salt-sprinkled dough for at least two hours.

And there you have it: a Super Bowl spread that’ll leave guests full — and impressed.
