‘I tried Leon’s ultimate Christmas menu and the gravy was the star of the show’

You know it’s the start of the festive season when the Christmas menus start to drop, and next week Leon will join the masses as it unveils its noel offering.

Launching on November 15, the Christmas menu will see the return of some fan favourites as well as some new indulgent treats to get you feeling festive.

Kicking off the new menu is the star of the show, the Festive Feast Wrap – a dish Leon claims to be inspired by an episode of Friends (if you’re a fan you’re sure to remember Ross’s Christmas leftover sandwich, the Moist Maker).

Bite into succulent turkey braised in their festive gravy, paired with pork stuffing balls, bacon, and a tangy cranberry and orange sauce, bundled up with Aioli, lettuce and crispy onions. Priced at £7.99.

The gravy is the real treat here – and available as a separate gravy pot at just 99p. The Miso and porcini flavoured sauce is smooth, buttery and delicious, a rich umami flavour perfect for dunking your waffle fries. Or your halloumi wrap. Or just tuck in with a spoon, it’s that good. It’s also vegetarian, so perfect for those of us often left feeling left out at Christmas menu launch time!

Back and better than ever, the £7.99 Turkey Christmassaman Curry features marinated turkey, roast potatoes and carrot, cooked in a rich coconutty sauce and served with crispy onions and pink kraut.

For those of you with a sweet tooth, you’ve not been left out. The Nutty Choc & Blood Orange Porridge (RRP £3.49) features blood orange curd, chocolate, hazelnut and cashew butter, juicy mandarin segments, and a delightful crunch of cacao nibs.

While the £3.85 Spiced Christmas Latte infused with a signature blend of spices and almond syrup and topped with dark chocolate is sure to fill even the biggest Grinch with holiday cheer.

LEON’s Christmas Menu launches November 15 at all LEON Restaurants. All dishes will be available for takeaway, click and collect and delivery.
