KFC launches 80-piece popcorn chicken bucket for just £5.99

The weather is terrible and pay day is just around the corner, so if you’re in need of budget-friendly pick me up, KFC has got your back.

The fast food restaurant is rolling out their 80-piece popcorn chicken bucket, costing just £5.99, nationwide.

They trialled the bucket in 10 stores in Glasgow, Scotland last year but it’s set to go on sale across the UK from today.

The Popcorn Sharing Bucket will only be available for a short time though – from today (24 February) until 22 March.

It’s literally just 80 pieces of the chunks of chicken in the signature blend of herbs and spices, but that works out at just over 7p per piece.

The bucket is made for sharing with friends so give them a call.

It’s quite a bargain as a large box of the chicken bites contains around 30 pieces and costs around £4.29.

It is an in-store only deal so you will have to head down to your nearest restaurant to grab one of the bargain buckets.

The brand announced the deal on Twitter this morning with a picture of US Presidential candidate Bernie Saunders and a caption that said ‘I am once again asking for you’ and the staff at KFC replacing the end of the sentence with ‘to release the 80 Popcorn Bucket nationwide’.

People were pretty excited by the offer.

Brad said: ‘This is the greatest timeline.’

Harvey-Thomas added: ‘You guys better not be trolling me and us if you are not huge GGs’
