If you fancy something sweet, but don’t want to faff about baking, this is the recipe for you.
Shared by Jonny Massaad, the founder of Australian dessert company Cake Mail, it uses only three ingredients – and it can be cooked in just a minute.
Jonny’s recipe is for a peanut butter mug cake, perfectly sized for one person to tuck into.
All you need is peanut butter, an egg, and some brown sugar.
Put three tablespoons of the peanut butter into a mug, then mix through the egg and a tablespoon of the sugar.
Give it a good stir until the mixture is soft and fully combined.

Then put your mug into the microwave for a minute, and your cake is ready to eat. As Jonny says in his Instagram video, ‘Dig in and enjoy!’
The video has been liked over a thousand times, with endorsements coming in from the commenters.
‘Yum, I’m trying this,’ said one, while another wrote, ‘I want the cake so bad!’
If you’re still on the hunt for dessert recipes, these cinnamon rolls are easy to make using ingredients you probably already have at home.
They have a Nutella centre, and a sugar dusting – and guests will never know they’re made from a humble slice of white.
Or, if you have a larger group to make something for, a lemon drizzle cake is always a winner.
Better still, it takes just seven ingredients and five steps to go from raw ingredients to a show-stopping cake.
