Many supermarkets are already offering Valentine’s Day meal deals for customers to enjoy the special day. One of these is Marks and Spencer.

Marks and Spencer’s dine-in meal deal is both reasonably priced and luxurious.

It includes a starter, main, side, a bottle of Prosecco, and chocolates.

All of this for only £20.

This means if a couple is splitting the bill, it costs a mere £10 each.

The chocolates are heart-shaped and come in a pretty box.

For those who don’t like Prosecco, there is also wine or a soft drink to choose from.

The deal is usually available to buy online and in-store from around February 10.

Couples can also get the meal deal delivered to their door.

It will also be available from Ocado, which stock Marks and Spencer’s full range of foods.

Although the deal consists of a starter, a main, and a side, the supermarket has not yet announced what these foods will be.

Last year, customers could choose from various options.

The starters include Coquilles St Jacques, Puff Pastry Cheese and Leek Soufflé Tarts, Gastropub Duck Croquettes, Gastropub Melting Cheese with Oatcakes, Prawn Cocktail, Salmon Sharing Platter, and Plant Kitchen Mushroom Paté.

The mains consisted of British 21-day aged Rump Streak with Peppercorn Sauce, British 21-day aged Sirloin Steaks with Garlic Butter, Rack of Lamb with Mustard, Honey and Herb Crust, and Pulled Beef Love Parcel.

Other meals included Duck Breast with Plum Sauce, Gastropub Beef Bourgignon, Love Linguine, Our Best Ever Chicken Kiev, Two Stuffed Seabass Fillets, and Plant Kitchen No Beef Creamy Peppercorn Pie.

As for the sides, there were Plant Kitchen Potato Dauphinoise, Triple Cooked Chips, Dauphinoise Potatoes, Truffled Cauliflower Cheese, Truffle Mash Potato, and Tenderstem Broccoli.

Desserts included Nuts About You Cheesecake, Two Gastropub Billionaire’s Pots, Profiterole Stack, Strawberries, Plant Kitchen Heart Churros with Chocolate Sauce, Glittering Heart Rose Flavoured Jelly, Two Tarte Au Citron Slices, and a Cheeseboard Selection.

Some of these dishes were new last year, and so other new options could be introduced this year.

Marks and Spencer also has many Valentine’s Day gifts already on sale for loved ones to purchase.

These include flower bouquets, a Champagne and Charcuterie Luxury Date Night Gift Bag, a Colin the Caterpillar gift bag, and luxurious underwear.

There are also candles, fleece dressing gowns, cotton pyjama sets, and pretty mugs on sale – all of which would make ideal gifts.
