There’s one thing and one thing only most of us crave on balmy days – an ice lolly.
Well, the good news is that one of the nation’s best-loved lollies has got a brand new flavour for 2020.
Pineapple and lime Twisters have been delighting fans since 1982, but the twisted lolly band has brought out a variety of different flavours over the years – including blackcurrant and chocolate.
Now, it seems there’s a new fruity combination to enjoy.
The Twister 3ster is the latest swirly snack to hit shelves, with three different flavours running through it: vanilla, strawberry and mango.
Available as a single stick (for £1.10) or a multipack (for £2.20), lolly lovers can get their hands on the 3ster at Tesco, ASDA, Sainsbury’s and Ocado.
Fans are already loving the new flavour, with many taking to social media to share their praise.
One person tweeted: ‘The new Twister 3ster are insane.’
While another said: ‘Why is Twister 3Ster so darn addictive? Awww…. could eat till the box disappeared.’
Someone on Facebook added: ‘These are amazing. I eat so many.’
But, on the whole, Twitter seems to agree that Twisters are the best lollies for a hot summer’s day.
One person said: ‘Twister is an elite ice lolly.’
Another added: ‘There isn’t a better ice lolly than Twister.’
Someone else commented: ‘Twister ice lolly is top tier.’
The hot weather appears to be sticking around for a while – so there’s all the more reason to stock up.
Another refreshing treat for summer is an iced coffee – here’s how to make the viral TikTok one, a Greek frappe and more.
In other food news, McDonald’s has announced it could be bringing back McMuffins very soon and Cadbury has settled the age-old debate on whether chocolate should be kept in the cupboard or the fridge.
