Zara Tindall, 41, and Mike Tindall, 44, tied the knot 11 years ago in Scotland, in what looked to be a very exciting wedding and reception. Guests reportedly partied into the early hours following the royal wedding.

According to the Daily Mail, the couple decided against the usual chocolate fountain that many couples like to have at their wedding, instead opting for something a little more exciting, albeit unconventional.

At 10.30pm, attendees took to the dance floor, and the revellers reportedly took shots from a vodka fountain.

Royal fan @toriaa_h tweeted: “Mike and Zara kept the p***** going when they got married by having a vodka fountain instead of a chocolate one!”

Although the idea of a vodka fountain can sound more dangerous than a chocolate fountain, the alcoholic version is actually not as bad for you.

A 100g bar of chocolate has roughly 546 calories, whereas 100ml of vodka only has 231 calories, which is less than half.

Guests reportedly knocked back ice-cold shots from a vodka fountain while morning-suited revellers nipped out for takeaway chips in the early hours.

This comes after I’m A Celebrity where Mike, a current cast member, shared that the royal couple “both quite like getting smashed”.

When asked about their first date, the former England rugby player said: “First actual date? Just went out for lunch locally and (it) ended up being quite a boozy one.”

A royal source said at the time of Mike and Zara’s wedding: “It was just a family knees-up. Your archetypal wedding, really. Except with a lot of royals and rugby players.

“And a lot of drinking. In fact make that a hell of a lot of drinking.”

At 6pm in the marquee, there was a sit-down dinner including a lobster and crayfish cocktail, Scottish venison with dauphinoise potatoes and chocolate fondant with strawberries.

As well as the usual wine and champagne, guests were offered a potent cocktail known as a Snow Leopard containing amaretto and cachaca with cream, rose water and coffee.

There was also karaoke, according to Us magazine. Zara and Mike sang an ABBA song, and Prince William reportedly finished off the night singing Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer”.

“He sang karaoke! Kate stayed down in front of the stage but clapped and cheered while he sang,” a royal source told the magazine. “It was amazing.”

“Pretty much everyone stayed up all night,” the insider added. “I don’t even think Zara and Mike went to bed. They were too busy having fun with their friends.”

Zara and Mike exchanged vows, and platinum wedding bands, at Edinburgh’s historic Canongate Kirk.

Princess Anne’s daughter wore an ivory silk and duchess satin gown by Stewart Parvin, a British designer favoured by the late Queen, paired with Jimmy Choo shoes and a tiara on loan from the Princess Royal.

The accomplished equestrian reportedly bought the dress off the rack at her local boutique for £3,000.

Mike and his best man, fellow rugby player Iain Balshaw, sported custom-made morning suits made by Savile Row tailor Cad & The Dandy, along with Oliver Sweeney shoes. These shoes reportedly cost £350.

Royal guests included the late Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, King Charles and Camilla the Queen Consort, Prince William and Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, Prince Andrew, Princess Anne, and Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex.
